Only thing good about this place is as long as you're gambling drinks are free. It's not a place to win at.

A very clean well maintained establishment with welcoming respectful staff and a great continental breakfast i would definitely stay at this room again.

Great place! My hotel room was clean and neat. The staff was very friendly and helpful . My son have a power wheelchair and they help me load and unload. I also went to the casino and it's great and they have newer machines.

Very nice I visited for the first time staying at horseshoe which I stay every week. I was looking for a different view.Loved the atmosphere here and the variety 9f games even though I didn't win. I will be back and hopefully I will get a chance to also stay the night in the hotels here.

I visited yesterday, and I was expecting to get my temperature taken at the door before I entered the casino...I will not be visiting anymore...I spent too much money and didn't win any thing. The machines are empty and they're trying to get people back...its not working 😕 I use to love it there...not anymore...I'm sorry about the pandemic, but you're not being safe at this casino....I will wait for A while before I return....Sorry

We always stay here during the week for work and get great room rates. The food in Smokey Joes is really good—breakfast or dinner.

We had fun, at least they let us play before taking our money. Lol

Great Hotel and Casino. I have a TV show called Drive Across Texas. driveacrosstexae.comWe stayed at the Sam's Town Hotel and Casino while in town playing baseball with my oldest son. Great hotel, clean and very friendly employees. We ate at Smokey Joe's and it was great. All around a 5 star rating. Will be back. Remember folks that's coming from a Texan, Adios.

They need more employees. I understand it was busy but every single thing you do has a line with only one employee causing you to have a ten minute wait minimum. The slots don't pay at all. Also the staff seemed to be very rude. I highly recommend Diamond Jack's instead for a better experience.

This has to be one of the worse places I've stayed in years. The T V doesn't work no where to eat and the Java's Sandwich shop charged 10 for a frozen tortino's pizza that was terrible.

Clean and relaxing. Staff was very nice. You can smell the cleaning supplies all through the hotel.

A very elegant place for a casino. All you can eat buffet. Hotel rooms available. Bathrooms are outstanding. Attendants, dealers & waitress were great. Slots were hot!!

We go most weekends for their live music & dancing. Saw Crush Friday night, & they were excellent. Food is always excellent, as is the service.

We had an awesome time playing the playboy game machines between the 6 of our group for hours. We did encounter a few rude bartenders walking around there.. but we had a super sweet security lady who had to keep telling us to get a member of our group to quiet down some since he was talking really loud esp after drinking. He wasnt being mean or irate just disractive but that lovely lady talked to us several times and still helped us make it fun and she never made us feel like "we were getting in trouble" or anything. I wish I knew her name right now.

We decided to come here for our fifth wedding anniversary we read on the news the casino was open as well as the motel, we tried several times to call and ask questions but could never get a real person on the phone. That should have been a sign but we proceeded just thinking they were busy. Couldn't have further from the truth. We arrive check in only to find out the Buffett, the spa, and the swimming pool were all closed, oh and all of the table games are closed as well as room service. You can play table games at every other motel/casino in town the pools are open at other venues most of the restaurants and stores are open at other venues but Samtown wasn't very forthcoming with any of this information prior to booking a reservation and checking in. This place is dead covid restrictions or not most other places are operating at some level of normal. Just not here do not reccomend wasting your time or money here.

Very clean, felt safe with social distancing being observed. Sam's Town lets you play a while for your money's worth instead of just taking it all at once.

Sam town casino is no good for customers. The times i went there rips the customers off. Only give big jack pots to white people .i will never go back there. Machine always too too tight

The room was very nice and decorated well. I was very disappointed in the casino. I was playing the slots and having a great time with my friends. When we would win a little (the machines weren’t paying at all) or land on a spin I would get really excited and cheer. A staff member came up to me and told me I needed to be quite. Who does that at a casino? I thought you would want your guests to have a great time. I’ve never been treated like this at a casino. It completely ruined my night and brought tears to my eyes. I will not be back. The breakfast buffet was terrible, but Billy’s Steakhouse was excellent.

Alright, truth be told, the only gambling I enjoy is when I'm playing a game of skill against an opponent(s). But, I discovered casinos have incredibly inexpensive rates to draw gamblers to their facility. I stayed here for around $60+/- and the room was very nice.

The only bad experience we had was at the buffet, everything tasted like fish even the corn bread. Thankfully room service was amazing. I will definitely be ordering room service next time and skipping the buffet

I've Never gambled at the casino. I would buy a lottery ticket every blue moon, but I had the best time here with my family and the room and view was so nice. Family friendly!

smaller casino so the smoke is pretty heavy in there I wouldn't recommend it if you are a fan of larger casinos. Older but still gets the job done. Good luck.

It was fun, nice place a little too smokey for my liking. Don't mind a little smoke but this was over the top, took me about three days for my allergies to calm down. The dealers were fun, I donated this time but I had a good time doing it.

It was very good visit. And very clean.

The casino was better than I expected, and the employees were tentative for the most part. The rewards program however is unorganized. I chose which establishments I visit based on how they reward their customers. After my visit, I was told that I qualify for free game play if used in the next thirty days, however when I returned I was sent from person to person before I was told that I was unable to claim it. Based on my experience in relation to other casino's, I don't plan on returning. Edit: the link works, but I can't submit the message from my phone. It seems to be similar to the rewards program, dysfunctional. You can contact me, my contact number is linked to my account I believe. I left my card with the employee last night, so I don't have my membership number.

Hotel was something out 1960!!!!! Food was ok!!!!Slots were poor!!!!I wouldnt waste my time here.

Worst place ever. Door key would not work. First gave us a lecture where to carry our key card. Second set did not work so came up to our room to show us how it works. Duh. Oh the battery was dead on the door so left us standing in the hallway waiting for maintenance man. We are in our 70’s and very tired. This whole thing took over 45 mins. Maintenance man could not fix the door so we could not leave the room. So no middle of night gambling for us. Next morning found bed bug on the bed. Out of there and will never return. Want my money back but nope.

I hate Sam's... The waiters are rude... Very rude....and I was a regular at one point.. And out of nowhere they took my free play away and my free rooms... After they upgraded my card... I hate thus place... I definitely hate the servers!

The hotel room was a 3.75 to 4 star. You have to buy a late checkout, even just 30 mins. Nice, clean and spacious. Some of the furniture was worn and a couple lights didn't work but overall a nice room. The casino is a 2. The smokiest casino I've been to. It was hard to get a free drink when gambling. I didn't win and didn't see many people winning.

Enjoyed the all you can eat lobster &prime rib on Saturday. Earned 5-10 points and received it for 50% off. The pork roast was excellent. Everything was tasty. Was able to play for a while. Man next to me in slot hit major jackpot on $1000.00 on lightening playing 75 cents.

The only reason I give this place 4 stars rather than 5 is that our whole floor and room smelled of marijuana. We did ask for a smoking room as my husband smokes but cigarettes were not the only thing being smoked on the 20th floor. Other than that the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff were all very nice. I’m sure they would have accommodated us if we asked but really what can they do? It’s a smoking floor. We will stay again but will pack air freshener lol
